Fideua de Gandía Cooking Competition 2019

This October La Maruja de Shanghai is going to present the first Fideuá contest with Chef Angel Nieto from Amadeo restaurant winner of the 45th International Fideuà de Gandía Competition comes to Shanghai to see if Shanghais best chefs can cook up an authentic fideuà from Gandía.  
这个10月,上海La Maruja餐厅将带来首届“西班牙海鲜面”大赛,届时,餐厅将邀请来自Amadeo餐厅的著名大厨Angel Nieto前来助阵。Angel是第45届国际西班牙海鲜面大赛的金奖得主,此次前来也意在通过比赛发掘上海当地大厨里的西班牙海鲜面烹饪高手。
 
Fideua de Gandía Cooking Competition 2019, Saturday, 19th October, 12-4pm at La Maruja with an entrance fee of 100rmb that includes 5 tickets of 20rmb to change for food and drinks, all wines from Valencia will be provided from Le Somelier and the Tapas from La Maruja.
此次大赛将于10月19日(周六)中午12点至下午4点,在La Maruja餐厅打响。观众仅需付100元,即可获得5张价值20元的票券,票券可换取食物和酒水。La Maruja餐厅将提供特色西班牙小食,索玫烈将为大家带来来自瓦伦西亚的美味佳酿!
 
Professional chefs from Shanghai best restaurants will cook their fideuà in front of the public.

FIDEUA DE GANDÍA

Fideuà is a traditional Valencian dish similar to paella, but instead of rice, uses short lengths of dry pasta called fideos, this dish was invented by fishermen in the sea when they run out rice and they start using this small noodles.
西班牙海鲜面是传统的西班牙瓦伦西亚美食,类似于西班牙海鲜饭,只不过用一种名为Fideos的短小意大利面代替了米饭。它起源于渔船上,当远航的渔民发现船上储备的米饭用完之后,便用这种面条来代替米饭。
 
An authentic Fideuà de Gandía is made with scampi, prawns, monkfish, tomatoes, onion, olive oil and of course the aforementioned fideos. During the competition, chefs will be presented with the above set of ingredients and can use their creativity to create what they think is the most authentic fideuà de Gandía.
一款原汁原味的西班牙海鲜面由虾、安康鱼、番茄、洋葱、橄榄油,加上之前提到的fideos面条烹饪而成。在这次比赛期间,参赛的大厨将使用以上所有的必选食材,但同时,也可以发挥自己的创造力,烹饪出独具个性的西班牙海鲜饭。

Fideua de Gandía Master Class

If anyone is interested in mastering the art of fideuà de Gandía, Chef Angel Nieto will offer a Master Class on the history, characteristics and cooking process of authentic Fideuà and two other traditional dishes. 
如果你有兴趣学习烹饪西班牙海鲜面的诀窍,大厨Angle Nieto将举行一场大师班,手把手教你烹饪西班牙海鲜面的全过程。
